[Invitation Only] ERIA in collaboration with IGES is organizing the 9th meeting of ERIA’s Experts Working Group on Marine Plastic Debris under the Regional Knowledge Centre. This meeting is bringing together experts and researchers with relevant knowledge and expertise applicable to the ASEAN context.
This meeting will cover several key topics, including the review and finalisation of the ASEAN Plastic Book Project, INC5.2 and way forward, extended producer responsibility (EPR), behaviour change, and circular economy in the ASEAN context.
The ultimate goal of the Experts Working Group is to inform the formal regional policy making process through the Regional Knowledge Center platform and by extension inform a global marine plastic process.
