This project aims to evaluate the efficiency of waste transportation and collection in Biringkanaya, Makassar City then propose recommendations based on the findings, especially in terms of improving the financial planning.

Clean Cities, Blue Oceans: Women and 3R/Solid Waste Management in Semarang Study

This study’s main objective is to identify key stakeholders in women and waste in Semarang,Indonesia, by providing literature review on waste banks, women informal waste collectors, and women waste traders in Semarang. After understanding the existing gap and understanding the additional needs of women working in this waste management in Semarang, recommendation of actions was provided to Women in Waste’s Economic Empowerment (WWEE) USAID.

A Study on Environmental Pollution Caused by Plastics Used in the Agricultural Sector and A Market Study on Compostable Plastic Mulching Film and Plastic Bags

The research aims to address the environmental impacts from agricultural plastics, including plastic residue and plastic bag/packaging involved, and to address how the rural communities manage the issue. Additionally, this study also did a market analysis of plastic mulching film and plastic bags to explore the commercialization of plastic alternatives.
