Support Development of Thailand's Draft Action Plan on Marine Plastic Debris

The project centered on crafting Thailand's five-year strategy, the Draft Action Plan on Marine Plastic Debris (2023–2027), aligned with national objectives like the National Strategy 2018–2037 and the 12th National Economic and Social Development Plan, and international commitments such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ASEAN agreements. 

Emphasizing holistic plastic management, it outlined the detrimental effects of marine plastic debris and advocated solutions: promoting a circular economy, fostering public-private partnerships, and enforcing regulations for waste management from land and sea sources.
