This study analyzes plastic waste flow in eight Thai locations, assessing generation and transport to marine environments. Reliable data was obtained for waste generation in all areas and for waste transport in four (Phetchaburi, Tha Chin, Chao Phraya, Bang Pakong). The study integrates national data sources and consults with relevant stakeholders to identify significant hotspots for marine plastic debris and inform policy interventions.
