Cafe using biodegradable paper cups, straws, and bags

Sri the Shophouse is a café located in Phuket Thailand. We use reusable environmentally-friendly paper cups, straws, and bags that are disposable, biodegradable, and 100% compostable to reduce the use of plastics and save the environment. 

This is the effort that we can do in the beginning without requiring many investments. By using the alternative materials for plastics, we hope that the people can change their mindsets regarding the use of plastics. 

Providing alternatives is important to give the people choices and at the same time educate them and make them aware that the alternatives for plastics are available. 

Although the alternatives for plastics are more expensive, the current price is getting lower since there are a lot of shops that already sell them. In the future, we are sure that there will be more shops that will replace single-use plastics.
