Refill, Return, and Contribute with the UMILE Program

Unilever Japan’s UMILE program is an initiative aimed at promoting recycling and sustainability. Participants can earn UMILE points by purchasing eligible Unilever products and recycling empty containers of specific Unilever brands.

To participate, consumers need to purchase specific Unilever products and take a photo of the receipt or place empty Unilever containers in designated recycling boxes and photograph them. These photos are later submitted via Unilever Japan’s LINE account, and participants are credited points. These accumulated UMILE points can be redeemed for various rewards such as exchanging points for eco-friendly products, LINE points, or donating to charities like the World Food Programme, Save the Children, and UNICEF Japan. Each UMILE point is equivalent to 20 yen when converted for donations. By partaking in the UMILE program, consumers can earn rewards while also contributing to plastic reduction, recycling, and upcycling.
