In view of enhancing regional cooperation and knowledge management among the relevant ASEAN Working Groups, GIZ 3RproMar in coordination with the ASEAN Secretariat will organise up to three regional workshops from 2022 to 2024, with the aim of bringing together a broad range of key stakeholders working in the areas of solid waste, marine litter, and circular economy in the ASEAN region.
The 3rd Regional Workshop is scheduled for March 2024 in the Philippines, with the theme “From Knowledge to Action: Empowering ASEAN for More Effective Land-Based Marine Litter Prevention”.
