At the occasion of the ASEAN-Japan Environmental Week organized by the Government of Japan, the Government of Lao PDR, and the ASEAN Secretariat in Vientiane, ERIA’s Regional Knowledge Centre for Marine Plastic Debris in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE) of Lao PDR highlighted the important role played by the private sector towards the improved plastic waste management and waste reduction in Lao PDR.
