The Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific (RRC.AP) of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), with support from ERIA's Regional Knowledge Centre for Marine Plastic Debris, has successfully completed a project focused on developing and disseminating situation assessments and technical guidelines for preventing plastics and resin pellets leakage from factories and the informal recycling sector in ASEAN countries.
This project drew on best practices and insights from six cities across Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Lao PDR. Discover the key findings and actionable recommendations here.
With the assessments and technical guidelines now complete, AIT's RRC.The AP Team and ERIA's Knowledge Centre are excited to advance to the next phase: capacity-building activities to strengthen our efforts in preventing plastic leakage and pollution throughout the ASEAN region.
Join us for the launch of the CaRMPAC Project (Capacity Building Programme for Reducing Recycling-Related Marine Plastic Pollution in ASEAN Cities).
