Development of a Dynamic and Searchable Catalogue of Experts and Expertise on Marine Plastic Debris

Marine plastic research in ASEAN+3 is developing. A searchable catalogue is a useful tool for identifying experts for consultation on specific topics. The objective of this research is to identify experts and/or research institutions for consultation:

1. in particular countries;

2. on specific topics (e.g. sampling for contaminants, ingestion of plastics in the wild);

3. with specific technical skill-set or expertise (e.g. plastic polymer identification, experience in sampling of specific species);

4. who have experience in working/publishing with other experts (including the identification of members of publishing teams).
